Our Story
Jim Hutchison and son, Cort, of Hutch Homes provides you with a balanced mix of experience and personal service. Jim's interest in and aptitude for building led him to study Construction Technology at Williamsport Area Community College upon graduating from Mechanicsburg Area Senior High. After four years with the Construction Engineers in the Army, Jim started Hutch Construction in 1983, changing the name to Hutch Homes in 2001 to better reflect the services of the company. Cort, also a graduate of Mechanicsburg Area Senior High, studied Economics at the University of Southern California. With a passion for the home building and construction industry, he spent two years with a national builder before returning home to team up with his father. Together, their combined 50 years of experience brings insight and professionalism to every project.
